A palm tree on a tropical island.

A repeat of the bright green barb!

This is basically utilising the same technique as my previous barb tree, but reduced to two layers which makes a nice palm tree.

Tropical island – bonus version!

After some feedback concerning the trunk I decided to try a different technique for it. I had originally ruled out the stacked cones technique as being too big for this scale, since I’ve used it for palm trees of much bigger scale before, but trying it out I feel it looks better, although probably still a bit out of scale. Certainly makes the palm tree look more like a palm tree 🙂
